Tax Me More Fund

RICHMOND — State lawmakers can rule out Virginian’s offering up more of their hard-earned money to fix the $1.4 billion budget shortfall Gov. Tim Kaine announced this week.

At least that is what a peek at the so-called “Tax Me More Fund” suggests.

Since its inception in 2002, the fund has collected a total of $10,217.04.

Proof that liberals only care about the things they can force other people to pay for.  Liberals believe that compassion is defined by forcing people to pay higher taxes, Conservative believe compassion is reaching into their own pocket to help!

Looks like Delegate Jack Reid was right!

GM’S Lutz trashes Hybrids and Global Warming

Why am I smiling?  Because I just read the article at Frontburner talking about the GM Vice Chairman Lutz on Hybrids and Global Warming!

During a closed-door session with several journalists at the restaurant, Lutz declared that:

Hybrid cars like those made by Toyota “make no economic sense,” because their price will never come down, and diesel autos like those touted by Chrysler are also uneconomic. The only place in Europe that diesel-driven cars are big, he said, is where diesel fuel is half the cost of regular gasoline; in most places there, the costs are comparable and diesel has little market penetration.

Global warming is a “total crock of ****.” Then he added: “I’m a skeptic, not a denier. Having said that, my opinion doesn’t matter.”

I love it!  I wouldn’t have uses those words…but you have got to love it!  Too funny!

Global Poverty

Obama bill: $845 billion more for global poverty

Liberals don’t have a clue on how to solve poverty.  The spent 4 trillion trying in this country and know they want our money to try to solve it in the entire world?  I am sure people all over this country think one of the biggest problems that we must tackle is the lack of foreign aid to other countries!

World poverty solution: Capitalism!  Liberal solution: More Socialism!

World Poverty solution: Export American Ideals  Liberal solution: Hate America!

America Poverty Solution: Graduate from School, Abstain from sex, get married, then have kids, stay married, work hard.

Liberals Poverty Solution:Tax the hard workers to give to the lazy and irresponsible, create programs that cause more irresponsibility(Condoms, Needles for Drugs, Welfare), create a voting, surf-class, and though more money at every problem (public schools).

Opps! I forgot, Obama has “hope and change” on his side!

Liberals are nuts!

We all thought it but now we all know for sure.  Liberals are really sick.

“Based on strikingly irrational beliefs and emotions, modern liberals relentlessly undermine the most important principles on which our freedoms were founded.” “Like spoiled, angry children, they rebel against the normal responsibilities of adulthood and demand that a parental government meet their needs from cradle to grave.”

I couldn’t have said it better.  The questions remains,  What caused them to go mad?

Chesterfield(tax payers) defends itself

Do we have freedom?  Really, do we have the right to fire or hire who we would like?  For any reason?  Can we no longer make any moral judgements with out threat of being sued?  Is there no longer right and wrong?

Chesterfield modifies defense in teacher suit

This guy is a pervert, a sicko, and a freak!  It is a shame that parents (through their school board) can not make a judgement on the character of our teachers. Well, I guess they can but they will be sued!  Thanks ACLU for being so pro-freedom!

Private Schools keep VA costs down

This is just perfect! I had to let you see this in case you missed it!

How much do private schools save Virginia?

According to an expert with the General Assembly’s Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission (JLARC), there are approximately 125,000 K-12 aged students attending private schools in Virginia. Approximately 24,000 students are home schooled.

If these students all entered the public schools system, what would the fiscal impact look like?

In FY 2007, Virginia spent roughly $3,750 per student for State Standards of Quality regular instruction purposes. When add-on costs (special education, vocational education, remedial instruction and English as a second language) are included the figure is $4,229 per student. Using these two figures a high and low end of the cost estimate can be established. Do the math and you arrive at a cost between $468 million and $531 million dollars.

Do the same math for home schooled children and you get a figure between $90 million and $101.5 million dollars. Overall, kids educated in private schools and home schools saved the Commonwealth between $558 and $632.5 million per year.

Given the fact that parents privately educating and home schooling their children are saving the Commonwealth roughly over half a billion dollars per year, isn’t tax relief on that basis in order? Virginia offers tax credits to encourage land conservation and historical preservation. Why shouldn’t we invest in our future as well by offering tax credits to parents and opening more educational opportunities for all children?

McCain Endorsements

You can tell a lot about a candidate by the people who support him.  Another great example:  Indigo Girls!

Q. You’re both active in a lot of causes. Are you publicly endorsing any presidential candidate yet?

A. I don’t know. I think I like all of the candidates — the Democrats — for different reasons, so I’m still listening. They’re all strong in different ways, which you can’t say about the Republicans, although I think John McCain is a pretty dynamic man.

Lesbians, Liberals, big Democrat supporters that like McCain?

Just Saying!!
