Budgets (public, government) are shrinking…fast! And the question on the minds of Virignians…..Can we survive without government services? The Times-Dispatch has many articles detailing the “downfall of society”:

Get ready folks…here it comes! The biggest whine-fest, horror-story, fear-mongering you have ever heard! Remember, only you and your family can live with less, never the government! But, even I, understand these cuts are going to have to be deep!
Something very good can come of this….peope will begin to learn that life can really go on and life can function without government programs and services! Yes! It can! (or should I say, “Yes, we can!”) Where services are vital…the private sector can respond…where serives where niceties in good times…they can go away (just like your home when things get tough!)
However, I have already heard rumors (mostly from the education establishment, not the only time, and not the first time) that some will be asking for a tax increase! OF COURSE!
Get ready…fight against any proposal to raise fees and taxes! As a reminder, the gutless, easy thing to do is run to the taxpayers for help by raising taxes…courage is cutting programs and waste! Lets watch and see who is Gutless or Courageous!

Why is it that college tuitions go up every year? I heard a repoert on the Rush Limbaugh show that most Ivy League institutions make so much money in interest on their holdings that they could give every incoming freshman a one year free ride and never come close totouching the principle of their investments! So where does all that money go? Maybe to fund the socialist representatives in Washington? Just a suggestion folks, just a suggestion.
I am telling you….it is going to get ugly! There will be a crush of people that think schools and government services should NEVER be cut!
The Elite (school lobby) will tell you that kids will suffer! And the premise is that it’s governments job to educate your kids and if government doesn’t do it…then your kid will suffer.
It is time for a “change”, wake up sheeple! It is our(your) job to educate our(your) kids!

About informing potential parents what it costs to raise a child, it is a matter of PERSONAL RESPONCIBILITY, that is lwhat living in a free society is all about. We have the liberty to make our own decisions and our own mistakes, too. I SEE YOU HAVE MADE YOURS

When you capture some one on the battlefield there are no Miranda rights. why? How do you plan to address the tax isuue when it’s bumped down to the local counties and cities where the blame for tax increases cant beblamed on the president , governor or the general assambly?
Do you pan to actually go before your neighbors and actually claim they are using “scare tactics” to help educate their children?.
Somehow i dont think anyone using that tactic will be welcome in the community very much longer .
Then again the basis of our govt foundation is at the local level so we shall see how successful you are at keeping your local taxes at the levels they are now.
