“Richard Lee” Plunkett passed away in his sleep this morning at the age of 66 from complications from multiple health issues. Richard was a founding member and co-host of The Lee Brothers radio program in Feb of 2003 on 990 WLEE. Richard loved radio and was the heart of the show. He was an amazing storyteller and was a consistent, purposeful optimist that cared about people. Richard was a professing Christian and constantly talked about Christ as the true Hope for America. It is with confidence that we celebrate his presence with the Lord while painfully mourn the lost of a dear brother. Richard was a good and faithful servant. Matthew 25:21.
Next weeks show will be a tribute to Richard Lee and the 20 years The Lee Brothers have been on radio in Richmond, VA.
