Terrorists attempt

An attempted terrorist attack on a Christmas Day flight began with a pop and a puff of smoke – sending passengers scrambling to subdue a Nigerian man who claimed to be acting on orders from al-Qaida to blow up the airliner, officials and travelers said.

I surprised to read that this was radical Islam attacking again!  Just shocked!  I was as shocked as the other local Nigerian Muslims who worshiped with him!  I express the same feelings as this guy:

“It was shocking to us,” Imam Kazeem Agboola, head of the Muslim Community Center-Detroit, told the Free Press today. The mosque has a predominantly Nigerian congregation, with Muslims also from Senegal and Gambia.

Who would have guessed?  I think we obviously need tighter security: The White House said it believed it was an attempted act of terrorism and stricter security measures were quickly imposed on airline travel.

Good, because those little blue haired ladies are a real threat and they just might try something like this!  And, of course, we have to “tighten security” because we have no idea who this people are…they strike without warning and nothing gives any indication  to who they might be!

It sure would be easier if we knew who they were…I mean that way we could just “tighten security” on them!  Watch them closely, ask them tougher questions, screen them better…in other words “threat profile”!  But…it’s just a shamed we don’t know who they are….darn!

Oh well!

Federal government moves to seize 4 mosques, tower linked to Iran

Federal prosecutors Thursday took steps to seize four U.S. mosques and a Fifth Avenue skyscraper owned by a nonprofit Muslim organization long suspected of being secretly controlled by the Iranian government.

The assets include Islamic centers in New York City, Maryland, California and Houston, more than 100 acres in Virginia, and a 36-story office tower in New York.

It is extremely rare for U.S. law enforcement authorities to seize a house of worship, a step fraught with questions about the First Amendment right to freedom of religion.

Or free to conspire to kill Americans or conspire against the Constitution….hummm?

The action against the Shiite Muslim mosques is sure to inflame relations between the U.S. government and American Muslims..

Maybe American Muslims should support it……hummm?

Patriot Radio

We have a special Patriot Radio segment during our show tomorrow in the 7 O’Clock hour!  Please do not miss it!  In case you missed it: click here!

USAF Technical Sergeant Phillip A Myers, 30, of Hopewell Virginia. He graduated from Hopewell High School in 1996 and worked as a prison corrections officer in Virginia before he enlisted in the Air Force in 1999. Phillip had a protective attitude, whether it be for his family or his country. He had served in Iraq and Kuwait, serving on the explosive ordnance disposal team. He was also part of the EOD team to former President Bush, conducting bomb-sweeps in the capital. Phillip had nerves of steel and was well respected by the soldiers who served both under and over him. Currently assigned to the 48th Civil Engineer Squadron, Royal Air Force Lakenheath, United Kingdom, he died near Helmand province, Afghanistan of wounds suffered from an improvised explosive device. He was scheduled to come home in mid-May. Phillip was awarded a Bronze Star Medal on March 19, 2008, for bravery while serving in Iraq and he was the recipient of the 2008 U.S. Air Force Lupia Civil Engineer NCO of the Year Award. Phillip had been promoted from Staff Sgt to Tech Sgt just days before his death. He had not known of his promotion.

I will never forget!  The Lee Brother’s were born on that day!  Richard and I mourned for months….and it slowly turned to anger!  We must never forget what that day felt like.  We must never forget that evil exist in this world!  I know…that is so politically incorrect….but only those who recognize evil can prepare to fight it!

Instead we have the nuts on the left who ultimately think we deserved it or provoked the attack of this day in 2001!  Their reaction to this day in history?

Unfortunately, that is the Left…they have never thought America is exceptional and the best place to live!  They should move to Europe!

God Bless the USA!  My prayers are with the families on this very difficult day!

Spending on Military or Social programs

In terms of GDP, spending on defense has fallen steadily. In 1980, nearly 6 percent of the GDP went to defense. Today, defense’s share is about 4 percent. By 2014, it is estimated the defense budget will decline to little more than 3 percent of GDP. In light of the fact that providing for the national defense is one of the few things the Constitution actually requires Congress to fund — it’s a pretty fair price to pay.

On the other hand, entitlement programs such as Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid — those mandatory expenditures (so-called because they are expenses funded by permanent appropriations) — currently gobble up well over 11 percent of GDP. That’s equal to about 65 percent of our federal budget. And they continue to grow rapidly. In a grim message to the public, the Trustees Report on Social Security and Medicare states: “The financial condition of the Social Security and Medicare programs remains challenging. Projected long run program costs are not sustainable under current program parameters.” Social Security reserves will be gone by 2037. Medicare is even scarier, with reserves forecast to be exhausted by 2017!

Like trying to appease the monstrous Audrey II in “Little Shop of Horrors,” the desperate struggle to feed the ever-growing entitlement programs has already begun. The president has sliced nearly $1.5 billion from the missile defense program — despite growing threats from rogue nations such as North Korea and Iran. Rep. Barney Frank is calling for a 25 percent reduction in military spending. Said Frank in June: “I am of course struck that so many of my colleagues who are so worried about the deficit apparently think the Pentagon is funded with Monopoly money that somehow doesn’t count.” Funny, I thought that’s what was funding the stimulus and TARP programs!

Cutting national defense to pay for entitlements is akin to throwing good money after bad. It’s like canceling an insurance policy to pay for a crack addiction. Slashing the defense budget will do nothing to improve this recession. In fact, budget cuts would simply grow the unemployment numbers and leave America vulnerable in an unsafe world.

Absolutely right!  Very well said, I recommend reading the first part of the article….and see why Robin stands where she does!

Do you think the radical left really cares or recognizes that all the things they want government to do aren’t even Constitutional?

I think it says a ton that the one thing that is Constitutional…they hate! Like this, and this, and this!

Freedom isn’t free!

Gitmo, again…

The president unblinkingly, methodically confronted a string of national-security decisions that have drawn criticism from the political left or right. He called the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay an inherited “mess” that “has weakened American national security” by providing a rallying cry for enemies.

Our President calls Gitmo a “mess” and “weakened American national security”……yeah, yeah, yeah……

Do we have to go through this again?  Gitmo is Disneyland! Yet Obama, with his huge liberal guilt, thinks that it causes terrorism, we are the bad guys, and we bully the rest of the world.  Cry me a river…PUKE!

As a reminder, here is the truth on Gitmo:

If you still think that Gitmo is as bad as Obama says after hearing that…you are sick!

If we close Gitmo, what would you do with these terrorists?  This guys are the worst of the worst…evil here on earth!

Requiem for a Patriot

On March 2,2009 SGT Jeff Reed gave his last full measure far from home and his loved ones. He volunteered after 9/11 knowing full well the “what ifs”. He struggled with them as did his parents and the rest of his family. But Jeff Reed kept moving forward with his life. He obviously did not live in the “what ifs” because he got married. Such is  the life and thought pattern of a soldier. I should know. I am the father of two of my own.
Though I did not know SGT Reed, I believe I know his kind. They are men and women that answer a call to serve in the most dangerous of capacities. Jeff and his brothers and sisters in uniform were not brainwashed into going into combat. He made that decision after weighing the consequences. It is the decision made by every Patriot since our Founding Fathers pledged their “lives, fortunes and sacred honor” at the signing of the Declaration of Independence. So SGT Jeff Reed belongs to a long, honored and hallowed line of American Patriots and he belonged to that line before the date of his passing! So another son will not be “home for the holidays”. He will share no more birthdays with his Mom, Dad, wife or any other family and friends. But they will continue to share in those memories and hopefully find comfort in them..
At this time I and my family pass our deepest condolences to the family, friends and squad mates of SGT Reed. May God comfort you in your time of grief.

PS  Godspeed to the 411 MP CO. Our prayers are with you all the more.

Closing Gitmo

Obama’s three executive orders sought to show that the United States does not torture and abides by domestic and international laws governing the treatment of detainees.

“The message that we are sending the world is that the United States intends to prosecute the ongoing struggle against violence and terrorism,” the president said. “And we are going to do so vigilantly, and we are going to do so effectively, and we are going to do so in a manner that is consistent with our values and our ideals.”

What message will this send the world?  What message will this send the bad guys?  You know…terrorists? Islamofacists?  You tell me!

We are going to shred this entire idea tomorrow morning at 7:30.  Don’t miss this!  You will see that Gitmo is far from a place of torture!

As a reminder!

Great Cartoon!

USA-Patriotism Poem

David Bancroft is a great American and real Patriot.  He sent us  this poem to express his support for the troops during this Christmas Season!  Enjoy…
And my poem, Our Valiant Troops, is the best way to express how fellow patriots and I feel about you.
Our Valiant Troops
So many thoughts and emotions are evoked,
when seeing young men and women,
standing at attention,
showing their loyalty and pride
in salute to Old Glory
that waves triumphantly above
as they listen intently
to our great country’s anthem…
They are daughters, sons,
sisters, brothers, husbands, wives,
other loved ones and very dear friends…
They come from all walks of life and every state.
Even some do so for citizenship sake.
They are our valiant troops…
each performing their role
to keep the USA free,
and doing what it takes
for others in need.
They do so not for greed or political belief,
but to serve, honor, and protect,
knowing that the ultimate price might be paid,
followed by more tears
when solemn taps are played.
They deserve so much for what they do,
including being remembered as a veteran too…
And just imagine how you might make one feel
with a simple thank you for being there for us,
when seeing the uniform being worn.

Obama should shut down Gitmo

Shocked by my statement?  You won’t be when you learn what really happens down in Guantanamo.  You will agree with me…shut it down now!

As we documented with this interview with Richard Miniter, Gitmo is a joke!  It is a huge political correct experiment run by the radical left!  If you haven’t heard Miniter, it is well worth the time. It is a must listen!

Now, Coulter reminds us in her recent article, Terrorists’ Restless Leg Syndrome, that $75,000 bought a terrorist a artificial leg so that can go back to the battle field and cause more havoc!

After being captured fighting with Taliban forces against Americans in 2001, Abdullah Massoud was sent to Guantanamo, where the one-legged terrorist was fitted with a special prosthetic leg, at a cost of $50,000-$75,000 to the U.S. taxpayer. Under the Americans With Disabilities Act, Massoud would now be able to park his car bomb in a handicapped parking space!

Americans for Disabilities Act?  Barf bucket anyone!!

Upon his release in March 2004, Massoud hippity-hopped back to Afghanistan and quickly resumed his war against the U.S. Aided by his new artificial leg, just months later, in October 2004, Massoud masterminded the kidnapping of two Chinese engineers in Pakistan working on the Gomal Zam Dam project.

Where is the press?  In none of the news accounts I read of Massoud’s return to jihad after his release from Guantanamo is there any mention of the fact that his prosthetic leg was acquired in Guantanamo, courtesy of American taxpayers after he was captured trying to kill Americans on the battlefield in Afghanistan.

News about the prosthetic leg might interfere with stories of the innocent aid workers being held captive at Guantanamo in George Bush’s AmeriKKKa.

Close Gitmo now!

Gitmo terrorists get rights under constitution

We are such a caring people! These guys in Gitmo really could be innocent and not the terrorists that we think they are.  It really doesn’t matter that we picked them up on the battle field fighting us, the good guys, in case you have a hard time figuring that out now days!  I guess we should ignore the fact that when these “choir boys” are released from Gitmo they go right back to trying to kill us, the good guys, again!  Or we should ignore the fact that we treat them better than our our civilian criminals. This excerpt from a new book by Kyndra Rotunda says it all:

Here you can listen to an old interview we did with Richard Miniter on the amazing things happening at Gitmo.  We keep playing by these stupid PC rules, we will lose!

One solution: we no longer take prisoners in this war!  When we catch them, we should interrogate them on the spot and then……..I guess……dare I say……have a little trial on the battle field and administer justice!
