From 2012…

This was a list of reasons to say “no” to Tim Kaine’s reelection in 2012. Not much has changed…and so much could be added.

I’m a pretty straight-forward guy. And here, for your consideration, is my list of reasons why Tim Kaine’s political career should come to a screeching halt on election day. I’ll be adding to this list between now and Election Day and you can hear that both on Bearing Drift’s own radio show, “The Score,” as well as “The Lee Brothers” on Richmond’s WRVA. Drum roll, please:

1. Because we only need one Barack Obama

12. Closing down rest stops
13. The “found” $1 Billion at VDOT
14. Because he told people to “get off the roads” if they wouldn’t support a gas tax increase
15. For saying “Old Virginny is dead” after Obama won in 2008
16. Because Kaine thought Virginia was racist before 2008

29. For supporting unconstitutional “Regional Transportation Authorities” in NOVA
30. Because as DNC Chairman he said, “I am trying to juggle two pretty challenging jobs; it’s not an easy time to be Governor.”
31. Because he has no legacy as a Governor
32. Because he lost Apple’s 1000 job and $1 billion to NC
33. Because in his final weeks of Governor he extended health care benefits to Gays
34. Proposed 1% income tax increase – 5.75% to 6.75%
35. Did I mention his last budget lost 97-0?

45. Because he doesn’t know what it means to be fiscally conservative
46. He thinks the problem in Washington is lack of civility
47. Because the problem in Washington is spending
