Here is the interview that Al Jazeera did with us in studio on October 24th, 2008.  We are about 4 minutes into the segment.  

“Republican shock jocks”…what?  If anyone listens to us, we are more conservative (at least me) than Republican…..but I guess the “shock” part is true!  In America, it is shocking to hold to Constituional government and Founding Father principles!

What do you want from your President?

How you answer this question says a lot about how you will cast your vote!

Richmond, VA, in the 1992 debate between Clinton and Bush, a guy with a ponytail stood up and ask the candidates “to meet our needs, the needs in housing and in crime and you name it, as opposed to the wants of your political spin doctors and your political parties. … Could we cross our hearts? It sounds silly here but could we make a commitment? You know, we’re not under oath at this point, but could you make a commitment to the citizens of the U.S. to meet our needs—and we have many—and not yours again?”

Do you want your President to treat us like his children and take care of all our needs?  How do you look at a President?  Is he the “money daddy”?  Is he the great protector? Is he the answer to your problems? Do you just want the President to be a caring guy who will think of you every single day in the White House?

Or…

Do you want a President to defend our country from enemies: foreign and domestic?  Do you want him to get government out of your way?  Let you keep more of your money to give as you see fit?  A President that wants you to become as wealthy as you can and hire as many people as you can?  A President that is honest enough to say, “I can’t create a single job, only you can”?  A President that encourages you to give to others and helps others because I can’t do it from Washington?  A President that recognizes that most problems are solved in your communities not from a federal law? 

 A President is an elected politician.  He can not create jobs, help you with your mother’s perscription drugs, pay for college, or solve the energy crisis by regulation and government demands!  Actually, he can do those things, but it would mean less freedom for you! 

However, he can remove the obstacles to those things.  He can make energy more affordable by not restricting or taxing the production of it.  He can make drugs more affordable by removing the government red tape involved in research and development, he allow businesses to flourish without fear of “excess profit tax” or witch hunt by some pandering politician looking for votes.  The President should be thinking of how to make us more free “every single day in the White House”, instead of how he can buy votes.

What do you want from a President?

The President that can give you everything has the power to take it all away!

Obama doesn’t get this…….

You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.

You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.

You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.

You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down.

You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.

 You cannot build character and courage by taking away men’s initiative and independence.

 You cannot help men permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves.

Most Socialists miss these important points!

In your face Colin Powell…

Colin Powell endorsed Obama becasue he is upset that the Republicans have been linking him to Ayers and others.  I think Ross wrote this for Powell!

But what does it matter — really — that he hung around with William Ayers for a decade, sat for two decades in the pews of Jeremiah Wright, was enabled early in his political career by imprisoned real-estate developer Antoin “Tony” Rezko, or retains as a campaign adviser a past head of Fannie Mae?

Let me count the ways. (1) Ayers is an unrepentant domestic Osama who bombed buildings in which people died. He’s currently an adviser to Venezuela’s America-hating Hugo Chavez. (2) Wright is a racial separatist who has sermonized saying egregious things.

OBAMA HAS repudiated the actions and statements of both. He has added that he hardly knew Ayers and, while a church member, never heard Wright’s hateful preachings.

Of course he has. What’s more (3) Rezko was central to launching Obama into politics, and represents a major tie to the Chicago machine that raised Obama up. (4) Franklin Raines headed Fannie Mae from 1998 to 2004, the years when it did its worst, for which he walked away with nearly $100 million in salary and bonuses. The collapse of Fannie is a huge factor in the mayhem currently hammering the financial markets.

What would the left do if….

If McCain — for instance — boasted Enron’s Ken Lay as a campaign adviser (compare Raines), or had held an early-career campaign fundraiser in the house of an unrepentant bomber of abortion clinics (compare Ayers), or had dozed through 20 years of sermons by a white-supremacist minister, would it be mean and extreme to mention them?

Got to love Ross MacKenzie at TD!  He absolutely nailed this issue and he is exactly right.  But facts don’t matter!

Dope!  Commenting on the Sarah Palin rally:

I expected to be infuriated by her loaded rhetoric or feared I might fall under the curious spell that has captured half a nation.

Curious spell?  If there has ever been a “curious spell” it is obvious by the Obamanites!

The crowd was stoked and decidedly monochromatic. So much for GOP diversity efforts.  Could it be that most blacks are going to the Obama rally’s (even though this race isn’t about race, but thanks for bring it up!) Go to www.inrich.com to see the race-baiting video by Williams.

Case and Point, you have been warned!

Thank you Obama for making my point about FREEDOM.  Here is what Obama said:

Plumber to Obama: “Your new tax plan is going to tax me more. Isn’t it?”

Obama: “It’s not that I want to punish your success, I just want to make sure that everybody that is behind you, that they have a chance for success too. I think that when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.”

Slipping into Socialism?  The world is upside down!

This election is about FREEDOM

Simply stated: Obama will make us less free!

Obama wants a bigger government and more involved government and it will result in less freedom. For example:

1. Taxes.  Obama wants to raise taxes on the wealthy. This says a lot about his philosophy. He is all powerful and gets to define the rich, but worst, he is using the tax code for social engineering(redistribution).   His view limits freedom by taking money from the rich and giving to the poor.  If you can’t keep your money, at any level, then you are losing freedom
2. Free college or subsidize costs.  For Obama to offer things for free he must take from someone else…result? Less Freedom.
3. Health care is a right. Rights come from God, not government.  The right to health care can only be supplied by someone else.  Your neighbor will have to provide health care for you.  The government that takes from some to give to others is not expanding freedom!
4. Right to Retire. Obviously, another “right” that must come from someone else.  Less freedom, more dependency.
5. Cut military spending.   Blazing ignorance and down right dangerous, Obama plans to defund our military.  The ultimate plan to make us less free!  Without a strong and powerful military we can not be free!  Most frightening! But we are just bullies!
6. Education.You think you have freedom with schools, try going to another one.  We are stuck in a government run system which results in less freedom.  Obama leaves you stuck in a broken system and limits your freedom.  And by the way, the VEA supports Obama.
7. Spending Obama wants to spend 800 billion!  The bigger the government the less freedom!  Obama will grow dependence on government instead of making us free.  Once again, to spend money means it has to come from someone…and that is you.  Can you feel the freedom growing?
8. Energy.  Obama’s distain for private business is never more obvious than in the energy debate.  Caps on profits, government mandated MPG standards, mandate number of hybrids on the road.  Is this freedom?  Government mandates??  This is more intrusion on freedom.  Obama will force his “utopia” on us and the entire time we will be watching freedom slip away!

It is all about Freedom.  The best form of government is the one not in session.  A government in session or a bi-partisan government is not making us a more free people!  Government does not move, on its own, towards freedom.  It’s entire goal and desire is to gain more and more power. Why? Because power is a drug.  And power corrupts and freedom is the victim. We certainly don’t need a politician that sees government as the answer to all our woes!

The nine most terrifying words in the English language are, ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.’

McCain isn’t perfect and many of his same policies will result in freedom being lost. However, lets look at just a few areas that McCain is expanding freedom:

1. Health Care. He will attempt to try to lower cost with more competition.  Let patients have more choice and shop for better values.  The $5,000 tax credit for all families would help drive costs down and let patients control which doctor they see and why!  Result: more freedom!
2. Education.  Let parents decide.  With parents choosing schools with the best plan, the best curriculum, the best tutors, schools will become competitive and begin fighting for each child.  Result: more freedom!
3. Military.  McCain understands our military and the role it has in the world. Peace comes through strength and John McCain is well aware of that!  Result: more freedom!

Vote for Freedom on Nov 4th!

Is Thomas Sowell a racists?

If you disagree with Obama or not going to vote for him you will be labeled a racists!  But how can a black man be a racists?  Thomas Sowell is obviously not voting for Obama, yet he is black!  What will the liberals say?

Associations are very different from alliances. Allies are not just people who happen to be where you are or who happen to be doing the same things you do. You choose allies deliberately for a reason. The kind of allies you choose says something about you.

Jeremiah Wright, Father Michael Pfleger, William Ayers, and Antoin Rezko are not just people who happened to be at the same place at the same time as Barack Obama. They are people with whom he chose to ally himself for years, and with some of whom some serious money changed hands.

Imagine a politician saying this…

Fannie Mae Eases Credit To Aid Mortgage Lending

In a move that could help increase home ownership rates among minorities and low-income consumers, the Fannie Mae Corporation is easing the credit requirements on loans that it will purchase from banks and other lenders.

This was in 1999!!  I thought all the problems were Wall Street greed, Republican deregulation, and rich people!  Interesting…..

The action, which will begin as a pilot program involving 24 banks in 15 markets — including the New York metropolitan region — will encourage those banks to extend home mortgages to individuals whose credit is generally not good enough to qualify for conventional loans. Fannie Mae officials say they hope to make it a nationwide program by next spring.

Fannie Mae, the nation’s biggest underwriter of home mortgages, has been under increasing pressure from the Clinton Administration to expand mortgage loans among low and moderate income people and felt pressure from stock holders to maintain its phenomenal growth in profits.

What? Clinton adminstration? But he is a…..Democrat?  And then there is this stunning statement of future problems…

 In moving, even tentatively, into this new area of lending, Fannie Mae is taking on significantly more risk, which may not pose any difficulties during flush economic times. But the government-subsidized corporation may run into trouble in an economic downturn, prompting a government rescue similar to that of the savings and loan industry in the 1980’s.

Who’s fault is all this…….government, not wall street!  Government is the problem not the solution!
