What I think upsets aging conservatives the most over the liberalism of the NFL and Nike and other companies is that culture caters towards young people, who are far more progressive than any previous generation.
One thing I agree with the video about is that it’s about simple business decisions and who has the spending power, and who is the future. This is how it has always been. It’s not fun when culture no longer caters to you and I’m sympathetic to that, but unfortunately it happens to all of us. Such is capitalism. But nobody wants to be irrelevant, and I can’t blame them.
